I was travelling alone, I had such a great time here. I met few very nice people. I made good friends from Argentina and Uruguay. Location was so good so close to center . If you come late night and hungry you can always find something in kitchen to cook. Staff was good. I will recommend this hostel

Hostel is in a great location, just a short walk across Charles Bridge to the centre of town. The staff were very helpful and let us extend our stay without changing rooms. Common area is nice with good atmosphere, busy on the weekend so you can party. But it's underground so the rooms are quiet and you can get a good sleep too. Only complaint would be that there is only one stovetop in the kitchen and it is in an awkward location so it is tricky for multiple people to cook at the same time.

We had a good stay at Mango Hostel! The rooms were clean and very quiet so we slept very well- the only criticism I would have would be that in our dorm the roof slopes so the shower was very hard to stand up in (especially for people a bit taller) other than that it was great and location is perfect!

This place was great! You definitely get more than what you pay for. Friendly staff, free food down in the kitchen area, and great location! I also met some really cool people while staying here. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Prague.

Best hostel I ever stayed at. Period. Location is perfect since it's about 100m from the Charles Bridge and a 10 minutes walk from all the other major attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Nilu! ;). Loved the kitchen facilities they provide you with, the 24 hr reception, the comfortable beds, and the cheap price. Value for money : really hard to do better.

Located really close to the Charles bridge this hostel is not hard to find.We booked a double room and got the number 32 on top of the stairs with a view of one of the towers of Charles bridge. The room itself is quite spacious and it's facing the street. It can get noisy, especially at night, but it's not that bad and I think if you want to stay so close to a really popular tourist attraction then you'll have to live with it.The bathroom is just huge with a bathtub. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were satisfied with the cleanliness. There was a kitchen somewhere downstairs but we never used it because there are many restaurants close by,some of them surprisingly cheap but nice too.All in all I would reccomend Hostel Mango.

Stayed 3 nights at the end of a month interrailing. We had booked one private room at a good price, and were shocked when we got in, far larger than we were expecting!

The bedroom on it's own was already a good size and just what we expected for a hostel, but then through the door the bathroom was the same size as the bedroom, if not bigger. Almost too much space in there, just not at all what you'd expect for a relatively cheap hostel! Good sized bath in there too. Room itself was basic but functional, exactly what we expected from a hostel, but a bit nicer.

Beds are extremely creaky, to the extent that if either us so much as rolled in the night, it woke the other one up. Also a disgusting teaspoon was in one of the mugs when we moved in, but we were so shocked by the size that this was quickly forgotten at the time.

The guy at reception was friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. Worth noting he also speaks several other languages. In the mornings it was a girl at reception, who on both days wasn't very useful when we had questions in the morning on our way out. For example, she told us there was no boat that went to the zoo when we asked where to find where it left from. Obviously we knew there was one after looking online before, so we went and asked in the hostel up the road and they knew all the information we needed.

The hostel has laundry facilities and a courtyard, as well as a small (self catering) kitchen underground, (we looked but didn't use - open food lying around and pretty disgusting fridge), but this wasn't a problem for our stay at all. It is well out of the way if you're not using it.

The location is fantastic, as there are restaurants dotted around nearby all up the street, and it is a 30 second walk from the Charles bridge, but on the quieter side (castle side), so you're not fighting through tourists like on the other side of the river.

Overall I would recommend to people doing a similar sort of travelling to us and stopping in different cities, and for larger groups doing the same thing, good value and easy to get to everything on foot that you'll want to do in the city.

Liked: The hostel was situated next to the Charles bridge, connecting us easily to Old Town, but it was far enough away so that we were not walking through throngs of tourists to get there. I had a private room with two beds and it was a great nights sleep. The staff are very kind and helpful.

Disliked: There was only one computer to use, so you were out of luck if someone was using it

Liked: The location is really good, 1min walk to Charles bridge and 10min to old town square! We had a double room with a private toilet! Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Disliked: I found it a bit weird that the shared bathroom was in another dorm room. So you have one shower for many people. (I guess about 10?) The bathroom wasn't clean either!
